Dry Store
This store room contains nearly all of the Natural Sciences collections. The shelving is mobile, allowing much more compact storage. The room is climate controlled, with a constant temperature and realative humidity.
Directly in front of you is a small moa skeleton, beside it a cassowary.
As you rotate to the right, the cabinets you will see house the insect collections. The Otago Museum has a New Zealand insect collection of international importance. The cabinets you can see in this shot are full of butterflies.
