About 'Virtually There'

Virtually There is a new system that allows visitors to view objects from the Otago Museum electronically. Also, visitors can experience how the museum caters for the storage of around 1.6 Million objects in the museum storage areas by taking the Virtual Tour.

Virtually There has been developed in partnership with a group of Otago Polytechnic's Third Year BIT students. To find out more about the system and how it works, click here.

You can find and browse our collection in several ways as described below:

» Browsing by category allows you to find objects as they are stored and categorised in the museum.
» Search allows you to pin point an object or group of related objects.
» The A-Z Index is a complete list of all our digital objects.
